Zen music for meditation and yoga

Music to come back to yourself. Flute, distant drums, the breath of the wind and floating pads accompany meditation, yoga poses or a few minutes of inner silence.

BACK TO YOURSELF

Music that breathes with you

In meditation as in yoga, music is an anchor. When the mind wanders, the sound gently brings it back: a held note, a drumbeat, a returning wave.

Our Indian American Fusion series blends Native American flute, percussion and floating textures: tribal, spiritual music for meditation, breathwork or the end of a yoga class. The lounge moods of Luxury Chillout suit gentler practices such as yin yoga or evening stretching.

Try matching your breath to the music: about six slow breaths per minute for five minutes is a simple way to calm down, often called coherent breathing.

OUR TIPS

Practise with music

Choose your length

For a short meditation, one track is enough. For a yoga class, let a full compilation play in the background.

Follow your breath

Sync your breathing with the music: breathe in as the sound rises, breathe out as it falls.

Stay still at the end

After the last track, stay still for a minute. That is often when calm really settles in.
